Welding and Fabrication Technology

Welding and Fabrication Technology Department was established in 2009 which was in partnership with ACMEL Ltd and decided to run a manpower development programme to enhance self –reliance and capacity building in our commerce and industries. Mr Raji A. O. was appointed as Co-ordinator of the department.

MISSION STATEMENT

In the field of education and training, the mission of Welding and Fabrication Technology is to reinforce and promote life long learning process where theory meets application.

OBJECTIVES

To provide middle level manpower to meet the demands of industries and commerce. Improve the quality and effectiveness of Welding and Fabrication education and training systems. Expose entrepreneurship among the artisans. Facilitate access to Welding and Fabrication education and training systems. Open up Welding and Fabrication education and training systems to the wider world.

TARGET

85 % of the total trainee should be gainfully employed through the self actualization programme. Average participant of vocational trainee should be gainfully employed through our marketing strategy.
