The Student Union Government (SUG), the Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic Saapade Chapter took a bold step recently by unveiling a business venture for her students in the polytechnic community.
The Dean of the Directorate of Students Affairs, Dr. Musari Adedayo, while receiving the principal officers of the polytechnic led by the Rector, Dr. Sanni Kehinde Oseni described the initiative as historic as it seeks to enhance the welfare of students in the polytechnic at affordable services.
At the opening of the venture at the SUG secretariat, the Rector pledged maximum support to the student population and improved the SUG secretariat’s infrastructural capacity for maximum productivity.
Some of the items displayed at the launch were staple foods at discounted prices and a photocopier machine for easy printout of students’ assignments to enhance learning.
