GAPOSA inaugurates SUG caretaker committee

To ensure the governance of the Student Union Government of the Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic, Saapade, a caretaker committee has been inaugurated.

According to the Dean Students Affairs, Dr. Adedayo Musari, the committee was instituted to ensure a good relationship between the management and the student populace as well as to oversee the conduct of the forth coming 2024/2025 SUG elections.

Present at the event were The Deputy Rector; Mr. Kolawole Ogunyinka; The Acting Registrar, Dr. Julius Popoola, The Director of Academic Planning Unit; Mr. Emmanuel Oladapo Solaru, The Sub Dean; Mr.Opaleye Oladotun and the Principal Assistant Registrar (General Admin); Mrs Oloruntoba Janet.

The Deputy Rector, Mr. Kolawole Ogunyinka who represented the Rector of the institution, Dr. Sanni Kehinde Oseni, advised the new executives to remain united and also   discharge their duties with credibility and every form of integrity.

Stressing the need for collaborative efforts, He maintained that the executives have been carefully nominated across the various departments for a progressive Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic Saapade.

The new executives are the president; Ibitoye George, Vice President; Tiamiyu Olajumoke, General Secretary; Olorunfemi Simbiat, Treasurer; Onuoha Cynthia Assistant General Secretary; Sanni Ayomide, Financial Secretary; Moriu Zainab, Public Relations Officer 1; Musa Ridwan, Public Relations Officer 2; Odutola Olakulehin, Public Relations Officer 3; Bolarinwa Damilola.

Others are: Social Director; Adesanya Qudus, Sports Director 1; Raheem Ridwan, Sports Director 2; Adewumi Adeleke, Welfare 1; Akanji Aishat, Welfare 2; Marcarthy Emmanuel, Welfare 3; Adekunbe Blessing and Financial Secretary 2; Adefeyinwa Adewale.
